Terms and Conditions

Reservations:

Reservations for tours are accepted up to one year before each tour date and are on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to decline deposits from individuals with a history of disruptive behavior on previous tours.

Deposit, Payments and Balance:

A deposit of $250.00 per person is required to secure your place. Payments should commence eight months before the tour, with the balance settled two months prior to departure.

Loyal Traveler Discount (LTD) Program:

In acknowledgment of the contributions of our many repeat clients, we have established a simple “frequent traveler” program. After three tours of at least two weeks duration, we will deduct $100.00 from the price of future tours.

Tour Cancellation:

If the minimum number of participants for a tour is not reached six months prior to the scheduled date, we retain the right to cancel the tour and refund all deposits and payments.

Traveler Cancellation:

  • Cancellations after making a deposit and/or payments:

    • Seven months before departure: An administrative fee of $25.00 will be retained, in addition to any non-refundable payments made to vendors.

    • Between six and four months before departure: $100 will be retained, plus non-refundable payments made to vendors.

    • Between four and two months of departure: $250 will be retained, plus non-refundable payments made to vendors.

    • Within two months of departure: $500 of the total cost will be retained, plus non-refundable hotel and transportation expenses, plus non-refundable payments made to vendors. Refunds will be limited to the amount not spent on the traveler.

  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email (preferred, as we may be on extended travel) or through the US Postal Service. We commit to providing a written response within three days of receiving the cancellation request.

  • Cancellation Policies of partnered vendors may apply.

  • For the best protection we recommend you consider getting personal Travel Insurance to cover trip cancellation and medical costs.

  • Note: If a replacement traveler is found, additional refunds may be considered.

Luggage:

Luggage should be limited to one piece of luggage and a carry-on per traveler. In every case, all participants must be physically capable of, and required to, handle their own luggage when/if porterage service is not available. These tours are designed for active adults. We reserve the right to cancel a person’s participation before a tour if it becomes obvious that the activities may be too strenuous.
